Use translucent vellum paper to trace or draw the picture. And then cut the white cardstock using ScanNCut machine. The cardstock used here is the Savoy cotton cardstock, which is made of pure cotton.
Cut another piece out as a stencil for coloring the flowers and leaves with copic marker. The colors were very easily blended on this cotton cardstock. The colors bleed through to the backside, but it's not a big deal as the piece will be glued to the card base.
Put foam tapes between the front layer and the colored layer to create a little bit of shadow effect. The blue and purple distress inks (water based) were blended smoothly on this cotton cardstock. This cotton cardstock is also good for watercoloring.
Stamp the sentiment to the card front, and glue the card front to the pink card base (Basis pink 80lb cardstock). I really enjoyed making this card for a special crafty friend and experimenting the Savoy 100% cotton cardstock.
